The Elite-fuser is the second largest member of "fuser" family and joins the Hobbyfuser, Cub-fuser, Cub-fuser-D, Pro-fuser, Pro-fuser-D, Deluxe-fuser and Grand-fuser.

Recessed floor bricks
The floor of the Elite-fuser is made from high grade, lightweight insulation bricks that give both a structurally steady surface to place the work on and a thermally steady base to aid in maximum glass results.
As the bricks are not cemented in, they are easily replaced if required
The Elite-fuser floor is recessed by 40mm.
Heavy duty under floor walk mesh structure
Under the floor is where the Elite-fuser excels. Under the brickwork, the floor structure is made from heavy duty walk mesh that expands with heat without distorting, offers superb physical strength and breathes, so, as with the roof of the kiln, helps and aids cooling dramatically.
"Infra-red quartz element system
The elements are wound with Kanthal A1, renowned as the worlds best element wire. The elements are inside quartz tubes and the quartz tube element system we use is widely known as "infra-red" kiln heating.
The heating system is in the roof only.
Unlike other manufacturers, the element system in the Elite-fuser is fully covered under the kilns 36 month all parts guarantee.
The boards that make up the chamber are specially produced for us and are pre-fired to 1100c before inserted into the kiln to remove any shrinkage or warping that could otherwise happen.
Standard roof vents with optional motorised operation
The roof has two vents. The vents are closed with Stainless Steel vent flaps which are lined with insulation pads with an anti-dust covered surface for clean operation.
As an option, these roof vents can be motorised and are then programmed to open or close at any point through the firing cycle and just as importantly, at the end of a cycle when those painstaking 150c or so need to be shifted before the kiln can be opened.
It could make the difference between coming in to a kiln that can be unloaded in the morning, or one that has still got 3 or 4 hours of cooling before it can be opened.
The vents can also be automatically opened at the start of a crash cool then closed before annealing begins.
Shown in the above picture is Kilncare's unique vented stainless steel room construction which vastly aids cooling of the kiln.
The controller for the kiln can be held remotely to make programming the kiln an easy and comfortable process.
The KCR32CWIFI is multi-program controller designed for glass, ceramics & pottery use. It is targeted towards glass use with 32 programs each of up to 32 segments. Each segment is a controlled heating/cooling ramp followed by a soak. It is supplied pre-programmed with 9 typical glass programs and 9 typical ceramics programs (which can be over-written).
The slow rate capability of the KCR32CWIFI, down to 1c per hour, makes it the perfect controller for complicated glass cycles.
The KCR32CWIFi has the capability to be accessed and controlled remotely from your mobile device.
This is one of the most important advances in Kilncare kilns for many years.
Using Kilncares GATEway access site you can view how your kiln is running in real time. Stop the firing or adjust programs all without even being in the same country let alone the same room.
The KCR32WIFI is also fitted with a USB port that allows programs to be entered that way direct from PC if required and also allows us to apply updates and run diagnostics without travelling to your kiln.
