KILNCare hot glass kilns are based on our extremely reliable [top loading] range, but are modified to suit the Hot Glass Studio. Ideal for processes such as colour warming, adding inclusions, graal embryo and other hot glass work. HGT kilns have a heavy duty stainless steel chamber opening frame, designed to protect the kiln wall top against accidental damage whilst handling heavy items.

The stainless steel lid is assisted by heat shielded gas springs which allow the lid to be opened at working temperatures. High grade insulation ensures low case temperatures, and rapid reclamation of heat after "at temperature" loading. The HGT frames are made from rust resistant metal, and are powder coated then oven baked.
